Dragoon

Article Abstract:

The Dragoon 4x4 light armored vehicle made by AV Technology Corp uses the same automotive components found in other military vehicles to reduce life-cycle costs. It is fully-amphibious and can propel at a maximum speed of 5.6 km/h in water, using its wheels. Standard features of the Dragoon include heating and air-conditioning system and power steering. Optional features include a centralized tire-pressure regulation system that allows the tire pressure to be adjusted to suit the terrain.

Article Abstract:

The M1114 Enhanced Capacity Vehicle from O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co is based on the US Army's AM General High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. The M1114 features an armoring package that provides the occupants with protection from 7.62mm armor piercing fire through a full 360 degree, 155mm artillery bursting overhead and under body blast. It can be armed with a range of weapon systems, including 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine guns or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher.

ASV 150

The ASV 150 from Textron Marine and Land Systems features one-man turret armed with a 40mm grenade launcher and 12.7mm machine gun with four grenade launchers mounted on either side of the turret. Standard features of the ASV 150 include additional armor; a centralized tire-pressure regulation system; a front-mounted winch; a fire-detection and suppression system; and a passive night-vision viewer for the driver.
