ESSEL PACKAGING TO SET UP JV UNIT

Article Abstract:

Essel Packaging Ltd (EPL) which manufactures laminated and seamless tubes is planning to set up a manufacturing unit in Germany in collaboration with a local partner. EPL has already signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Argenta International, a commercial firm based in Munich. The plant will be set up at a cost of DM16 million (Rs42.5 crore) in Dresden. The equity base of the joint venture will be DM5 million (Rs13 crore). (gs)
