Energomontaze has a contract in Turkey
Article Abstract:
Energomontaze (Liberec, Czech Republic), engineering firm, will participate in supplies for a thermal power station in Afsin Elbistan, Turkey. At the beginning of 2000 Energomontaze arranged a contract worth 700 mil Kc in a consortium with Liberecke kotlarny Hoelter (Liberec, Czech Republic) with the multinational company ABB Alstom Power within the project. The contract regards the pressure part of four boilers. Czech firms should ensure jobs worth a total of 212 mil USD within the construction of the power station.

Aero Vodochody is awarded a contract
Article Abstract:
Aero Vodochody (Odolena Voda, Czech Republic), aircraft manufacturer, has been awarded a contract by the helicopter manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft (US). The contract on the production of civil helicopters of the type S-76 is worth 230 mil USD. It includes the production and sub-assemblies of more than 100 bodies for a seven-year pariod. Aero should supply 15 pieces of the bodies per year from November 2000.
