Estimation of returns to scale using data envelopment analysis

Article Abstract:

The relationship between the returns to scale and most production scale size in multiple-output-multiple-input production conditions are analyzed in terms of production frontier. The analysis assumes a well-defined returns to scale concept for production possibilities that are radical technical efficient points. Further, the concept is connected to that of the most productive scale size.
