TTK Biomed manufactures novelty condoms or fun condoms which are available in varied animal shapes. The company produces six million pieces per year at its Aurangabad plant and exports them to Europe. It is also negotiating for bulk orders from Germany, Hong Kong and South Africa. The product is not recommended for birth control or protection against venereal diseases. Since it fails to qualify stringent tests like stress, elongation it cannot be sold in India as condom. However, TTK is planning to introduce the product in Indian market by creating awareness. It is negotiating with a Calcutta based distributor in this regard. (um)(psr)

Madura Garments has come out with two new range of trousers - the European range and Progressive range - for men of style. The European range of formal trousers comes in poly-wool and poly-viscose blends with high waists. The Progressive range consists of semi-formals in cotton and cotton-blended fabrics in colours of stone and khaki. Both the ranges are available in Van Heusen showrooms, premium menswear outlets and Shoppers Stop. The trousers are priced between Rs795 and Rs1095. (gsh)
