Financial analysis of civil reserve air fleet participants using data envelopment analysis

Article Abstract:

The Civil Reserve Air Fleet (CRAF) consists of commercial air carriers that augment the airlift capabilities of the United States Department of Defense and Air Force during national emergencies. The financial stability of CRAF participants was assessed using data envelopment analysis (DEA) together with ratio analysis to ensure that they were ready for any future mobilization required by the government.
