Nokian yhteenliittym toimittaa Belgiaan radiopuhelinverkon

Article Abstract:

A consortium of Finnish Nokia, German Kreutler and Belgian Telindus will deliver the radiotelephone network for official use to Belgium. The order values at Fmk 1.3bn (US$ 0.2bn). The official ASTRID network will cover the entire country serving at first the Belgian police and later the entire safety and rescue operations. The network is based on Nokia's technology. Nokia will deliver the TETRA radiophone network for the project. The network include the exchange, base stations and network management system. The system is complemented by Telindus products, services and integration know-how and Kreutler recording system.

Article Abstract:

Finnish Kvaerner Pulping will deliver large soda recovery boilers to Sweden and South Africa. The boiler is used for burning black lye, a byproduct of pulp production. The contracts total nearly FIM 500mn (USD 97mn) and most of the orders will be produced in Tampere, Finland. According to the MD Bertel Langenski ld, the plants' order base is now "extremely satisfactory". The Swedish boiler will go to Stora's Gruv pulp and paper mill. The recovery boiler will be one of the largest in Sweden. The start up will be in June 2000. The boiler ordered by South African Mondi will be delivered already in autumn 1999.
