Ford plans more cutbacks at Jaguar

Ford Motor Co. of the United States, the parent company of Jaguar Cars Ltd. of the United Kingdom is planning a restructuring and cost cutting measures for the luxury automobile company. In the United States sales of Jaguars are down 30 percent due to increased competition and Ford Motor Co. has plans to cut production by up to seven percent although no layoffs are expected.

Struggling Ford looks to get a lift - from slumping Volvo's new models

Swedish automobile manufacturer Volvo plans to introduce new models in the next four years, in an attempt to improve profits. Ford Motor Co., which has also suffered financial losses recently, is relying on Volvo, one of Ford's luxury European brands, to help the company regain profitability .
