Rising fuel prices in 2005 have shaken up the Dutch trawler fleet. Rising fuel prices in 2005 have shaken up the Dutch trawler fleet. According to Geert Meun of Federatie van Visserijverenigingen, the industry paid more than break-even price for diesel. The trends in the industry during 2005 are also discussed.
