From Spain to Pakistan

Article Abstract:

Moravske naftove doly (MND) (Hodonin, Czech Republic), oil and gas company, expects better economic results in 1998 than it saw in 1997. In 1997 the company generated proceeeds of 1.3 bil Kc and a profit of 32 mil Kc. In 1997 MND began expanding abroad. It participated in the discovery of a natural-gas deposit in Pakistan, the supply of which is estimated at 57 bil cu mt. The exploitation of the deposit should be started in 2000. MND has an 8% share in the discovery. The company is also involved in survey jobs in Turkey, Spain, the North Sea and the UK.
