Great, big puppies: dog behaviour

Article Abstract:

British researchers studied 10 different dog breeds to determine whether behaviour is linked to paedomorphosis, the retention of juvenile features into adulthood. They concluded that dogs that most resembled wolves had more aggressive and submissive signals than dogs that had few similarities.

The human genome: the proper study of mankind

Researchers hope that the Human Genome Project, which aims to identify all human genes, contributes to finding new ways to diagnose and treat disease. But new ethical dilemmas and other dangerous implications of the research are certain to arise as well.
