"Handier" in North America

Article Abstract:

Swisscom's new roaming arrangements with North American cell phone companies have made it possible for owners of Swiss mobile phones to access numbers in Switzerland from most places in North America. Owners of Swiss mobile phones may also discover that they no longer need to acquire new phones when visiting the US, since they have the option of removing the SIM chip card out of their GSM phones and inserting it into a rented mobile phone equipped with North American frequencies.
