Article Abstract:

The Belgian printing firm Meulemans (1997 turnover BFr 921mn), specialists in industrial printing and the design and manufacture of cardboard packaging and publicity material, will invest BFr 450mn in a new production unit in Arlon, Luxembourg. The 7,000m unit will allow the firm, which is presently using its full capacity, to increase output, and will create 30 jobs (rising to 50). Furthermore, a new company, Meulemans Luxembourg Limited Liability Company will be created. The management of prepress workshops in Belgium and Luxembourg will develop a fibre optic link via the WIN Wallon network.

Sabena Technics d croche trois nouveaux contrats

Article Abstract:

Sabena Technics, a department of the Swiss/Belgian firm Sabena, has won three contracts worth BFr 700mn, the contracts concern the maintenance of Airbus A310 and Boeing 737 aircraft. Sabena Technics is responsible for the maintenance of aircraft, motors and spare parts. The three companies concerned are Translux, a Luxembourg cargo carrying company, Armenian Airlines and the Czech charter flight company Fisher Air. The new contracts mean that Sabena Technics now has 120 clients on its books, including Swissair, KLM and Virgin Express.
