Hot training at Nagasaki

Article Abstract:

Nagasaki Airport has completed the construction of two aviation simulators at its Emergency Aviation Training Center. The simulators were built by IFTE in collaboration with Hitachi. The technologically advanced simulators comprisea full-size Boeing 767 replica that simulates an aircraft after an emergency landing and includes a diverse range of external scenarios including undercarriage and engine fires. Nagasaki's hot training fire training facility is the first of its kind in Japan.

Singapore makes Internet access easy

Article Abstract:

Singapore Changi Airport has installed eight infrared Internet access kisosk to allow its passengers in the departure/transit lounge to easily access Internet services with their personal digital assistants. With this system, passengers using handhelds or laptops with IR ports no longer need to plug into modems or subscribe to an Internet service provider in order to download e-mails or access the Internet.
