Hutchison Whampoa sets its sights on Euro market
Article Abstract:
Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. is making a 500 million euros ($546.8 million) offering. The company is targeting European investors in the euro market for the first time with the offering. Aside from Japan, the offering was the first for an Asian corporate issuer. Deutsche Bank is one of the lead managers for the offering. However, syndicate members cautioned that offering might have consumed the remaining limited demand for credits in Asia.
