Russia is planning to impose penalties on Russian operators if they sail their trawlers back from the grounds to Russian ports to sell the pollock catches. This would result in Russia getting more value from the catches thereby strengthening the country's fish processing industry. The opinions regarding the ban of ship Veronica have also been expressed.
