ICA: Institute for Canadian Absantees

Article Abstract:

The joint three-day meet of the Institute of Communications and Advertising, Canada and the American Association of Advertising Agencies in New Orleans was marked by the poor attendance on the part of the Canadian ad agencies, even though the convention in part was organized by the ICA. Thus the chances of the advertisement industry improving seems far fetched if the member companies prefer to remain aloof and uninvolved in the industryEs opportunities in North America.

Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG fired their directors and hired new ones after losing its top three clients and has since regained new clients. Sharpe Blackmore is now in control of Arnold Worldwide Canada and the two companies are keeping both their banners but are integrating their backend operations.
