Infiniti Infotech, a software company based at Bangalore, has decided to concentrate on education, training and Internet services. The company is also setting up a subsidiary in the UK later in 1999. It is developing a programme so as to act as a finishing school for the information technology industry. It is negotiating with two US based Internet service companies to become a sub-vendor for them. The company is already providing training in emerging technologies to companies like IBM, Verifone, Motorola and Lucent in India. (khr)

EXCEL PLANS TO TAKE UP MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION PROJECTS

Excel-Soft, an application software development company, plans to set up a facility at Bangalore to take up medical and legal transcription projects.
