'Click of Death' may long haunt Iomega and Zip-drive buyers

Iomega Corp. is being sued by customers who received faulty data-storage zip drives that failed to keep their files safe. Iomega claims that their products are dependable and are continuing to market them with plans for expansion into retail stores such as Wal-Mart.

New draft budget attracts praise from analysts

Article Abstract:

Indonesia's proposed budget for the fiscal year 2000 has won the approval of financial analysts, who welcomed its economic reality. The new draft budget proposed a 29% increased spending for government salaries and 39% for funds for the provinces. Government spending was also reduced by 17% to facilitate the securing of $1.3 billion in foreign loans required to offset the expected economic shortfall.
