Indicators of successful companies

Article Abstract:

Monthly data of 478 companies is used to investigate the possible indicators of financially successful companies, using three measures of financial performance i.e., the Sharpe index, Jensen's alpha and Economic Value Added (EVA). The investigation shows that especially large profitable firms with efficient working capital management and a certain degree of uniqueness regarding their business are the most successful companies.

Organizing innovative projects to interact with market dynamics: a co evolutionary approach

Article Abstract:

The co evolutionary processes that take place between the way firms organize their innovative activities and the dynamics of the relevant markets are discussed. The focus is on the decision-making actors, causes of increasing returns and definitions of bandwagon and network effects that are consistent with this aim.

Alliance capability: a comparison of the alliance strength of European and American companies

Article Abstract:

In the modern business, alliances and collaborations have become very vital. American company alliances have edge over the European companies both in number and also in implementation of alliance management techniques. There is need of European companies upgrading their alliance management skills.
