Indonesia airport privatization moving

Article Abstract:

The Indonesian government is offering interested foreign investors a 30-year concession agreeement to manage the Sukarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The airport is currently an asset of state-owned Angkasa Pura II and will be split into a joint venture 51 percent owned by the government and 49 percent by the chosen strategic partner, who will retain management control. Draft concession agreements have been distributed to several interested parties.

Project financed airports

Article Abstract:

The consortia competing to purchasing Australia's airports are expected to finance the deals mainly through project finance. Bidders include Australia Pacific Airports Corporation, Commonwealth Bank and Schipol Airport, Hudson Conway and Vienna Airport, Airport Group International and Hastings Fund Management, Macquarie Bank, Serco and Manchester Airport and Australian Airport Services. Project financing has been used in power privatisation in Victoria.

Australian airports privatization - the first two years
