Article Abstract:

The Integrated Consultancy for European Property has been formed to take advantage of the European single market. A number of businesses based in Hampshire, England, architect HGP, quantity surveyors Currie Brown and three property agents, have formed a professional network. The consultancy can offer a complete service from property market research to detailed design and is involved in discussions of possible projects in eastern Germany and Czechoslovakia. There is no formal financial structure to the consultancy but it meets at three weekly intervals.

London needs to implement measures for sustainability, so that 25 years from now it will be a city with a global perspective, but retaining its local roots. In 2020 community and neighbourhood will be important frameworks for social belonging. The air will be cleaner due to major developments in transport technology. Buildings will be constructed to high ecological design standards, with groups of buildings share combined heat and power systems.
