Intelligent office cabling

Article Abstract:

Computer company, Digital has fitted out two different buildings for a high level of communications and building management networking. One of the buildings was purpose designed and comprises large office areas divided by a cruciform of service rooms. This allows flexible working and makes servicing and cabling relatively simple with standardsied furnishing and no need for raised floors. The other building was speculativley designed and presented more problems in terms of servicing and use of space. Digital fitted 'flood' wiring in both buildings and intends all communications and building services to use the same network.
