It's fishermen who are facing extinction!

Article Abstract:

An edited copy of the speech given by Javier Garat, general secretary of FEOPE (Spanish Federation of Fisheries Organizations) given at the High Seas Planning Board meeting is presented. Garat criticized the environmentalists for their attacks on bottom trawling and presented statistics on diminishing number of fishermen due to various restrictions by them through European Union and the likes.

Article Abstract:

The demonstration against the environmentalists by the fishermen in Spanish port of Vigo is discussed. It culminated in Esperanza, the green peace ship being forced out of the port. The situation arose because environmental activists had illegally boarded the bottom trawlers Ivan Nores, Playa de Menduina and Anuba.
