Waiting for Matsushita

Article Abstract:

Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd. is experiencing zero-growth, and despite concern for shareholder profit and value, the company stock remains a risky buy. Matsushita needs to downsize its operations to control costs and search for new product developments to increase sales. Competition from China and the general state of the economy are also factors contributing to Matsushita's poor financial performance.
