Japanese auto sales expected to rise

Automobile sales in Japan is expected to increase for the 2000 year, according to the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association. Sales are forecasted to rise 2% to six million units for the 2000 year.

U.S. car sales eased in January

Article Abstract:

Automobile sales in the U.S. dropped slightly in the January 2002 period. Analysts forecasted 16 to 16.5 million car sales for the period, compared to 18.3 million in December 2002.

Porsche expects sales to rise

Porsche AG forecasted an increase in revenues to 8 billion marks (4.09 billion euros) for the fiscal 2001 year. The company posted 7.13 billion marks in 2000.
