Japan's NEC expects to list shares in U.S

NEC Corp. will list its stock in 2001 on the New York Stock Exchange. The listing will enable NEC long-term stockholders to sell of some of their shares and provide the company with a stock that it can use to acquire firms in the US.

Thomson-CSF will change is name, list in London
