Article Abstract:

Online broking is developing in Japan, where sales of computers have increased following a drop in price. Microsoft Japan, Sony, and others have entered the online broking market, while Japanese stockbrokers themselves have set up online broking facilities. There are some 80,000 investors using online broking facilities in Japan, but the online broking market is forecast to grow rapidly, and deregulation will allow for price competition.
