Karan shareholders agree to new bid from LVMH

Donna Karan International Inc. has reached an agreement to be acquired by LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton for approximately $243 million (277.3 milion euros). The deal is expected to be completed by the 2001 third-quarter.
