Knowledge acquisition and performance of international joint ventures in the transition of Vietnam

Article Abstract:

An evaluation of the effectiveness of a model, which is developed from a knowledge-based perspective, is presented. The main propositions of the model are, influence of certain international joint venture characteristics on knowledge acquisition of the joint ventures, and the influence of acquired knowledge on venture performance. The model is tested in Vietnam.
