Picanol wants to produce jet looms in the Czech Republic

Picanol (Belgium), textile loom manufacturer, plans to produce 2,000 jet looms per year in the Czech Republic by 2002. Their production will be done on the premises of the bankrupt textile loom manufacturer Elitex (Tyniste nad Orlici, Czech Republic). Picanol, which is one of the leading firms in the field on worldwide market, has agreed the price and payment conditions with the trustee in Elitex's bankruptcy.

Kostelecke Uzeniny will build a new production complex by 2002
Article Abstract:
Kostelecke uzeniny (KU) (Kostelec u Jihlavy, Czech Republic), meat and products processor, plans to commission a new production complex in 2002. The total investments in the construction of the complex should exceed CEK 400 mil. The first part of the complex, which will be represented by a new meat products plant, should be built in 2001.
