HINDUSTAN SHIPYARD ALL SET TO DOUBLE SHIP-REPAIR REVENUE

83Hindustan Shipyard Ltd expects to double its revenues from ship- repair activities in 1998-99 against a revenue of Rs44 crore in 1997-98. The company has taken up the repair of a floating dock, FDN 1 belonging to the navy, for the first time. It has also undertaken the repair of oil tankers for the first time and is currently repairing the MV Jainarayan Vyas, a 40,000 dead weight tonnes crude oil tanker. (khr)
