Lanex Bolatice

Article Abstract:

Lanex (Bolatice, Czech Republic), polypropylene bag and rope firm, wants to raise the rate of its production innovation and development to maintain its market position. The firm exports 75% of its production to the markets of the European Union, Scandinavia, Island and Australia. The company's investments were 215 mil Kc in 1994-1997. Lanex invested 9 mil Kc in the construction of its new warehouse including technology in 1997. Lanex's proceeds increased to 506 mil Kc in 1997 compared to 258 mil Kc in 1993. About 50% of the firm's turnover is represented by polypropylene bags and one third by coined and knitted ropes.

Lanex to invest CEK 84 mil

Article Abstract:

Lanex (Bolatice, Czech Republic), rope and industrial textiles manufacturer, will invest CEK 84 mil in production development in 2000. The firm will release CEK 64 mil of the sum from its own sources. The remaining CEK 20 mil has been provided by the Ministry for Local Development of the Czech Republic to support the setting up of new jobs in crisis-affected regions. Lanex's project should yield 67 new jobs. The company's production programme includes polypropylene-fibre products, among other things.

Mlekarna Olesnice plans to invest CEK 80-90 mil in 2001

Article Abstract:

Mlekarna Olesnice RMS (MO) (Olesnice, Czech Republic), milk products company, plans to invest CEK 80-90 mil in the construction of a new milk processing hall in 2001. MO's processing capacity including the milk products plant in Litomysl, the Czech Republic, will increase by 60,000-80,000 lt after the commissiong of the hall compared to the current 230,000 lt. The hall should be commissioned gradually from Oct 2001. The milk products plant in Olesnice invested about CEK 200 mil during 1991-2000.
