Learning to fly: Canada opens its air force training program to foreign students

Article Abstract:

Canada has decided to offer its air force training program to students from foreign countries. The move is aimed at increasing the program's student base to include students from such regions as South America and the Asia-Pacific. An increase in the student base is expected to reduce the cost of training as well as permit the continuous development and improvement of the program. The decision also serves as Canada's way of taking advantage of the declining number of military establishments all over the world.
