Christopher Lischewski, of Bumble Bee Seafoods Inc. stated that the U.S. companies need to improve sales in the U.S. Currently, Europe is the largest market for tuna. StarKist (owned by H.J. Heinz), Chicken of the Sea (owned by Thai Union), and Bumble Bee account for 82 percent of the U.S. market.
