Libeskind's star shines on London

Article Abstract:

Ground Zero designer Daniel Libeskind visited London to launch the new landmark graduate centre for London Metropolitan University (LMU) on the less-than glamorous Holloway road that symbolizes the university's aspirations and produces a landmark on the Holloway Road. He feels that this project is a challenge to him as it is a modest building in a complex area.

Ground force

Article Abstract:

An earth-red cob wall is built for an ecologically designed house by Associated Architects alongside the River Severn on the outskirts of Worcester. The architectural features of the house are discussed with the house being named as Cobtun, 'cob' for the wall construction and 'tun' meaning an enclosure around a homestead.
