Best Buy cuts forecast because of competition

Best Buy Co. forecasted that it will post 27 cents per share in profits for the fiscal 2000 third-quarter. The lower-than-expected profits are being attributed to strong competition.

RadioShack warns first-quarter profit will miss estimates

Article Abstract:

RadioShack Corp. is expecting to post lower-than-expected earnings for the 2001 first-quarter. The company expects earnings of 31 to 33 cents (34 to 37 European cents) per share, compared to the previously expected 38 cents.
