KLM reveals first-half surge on better yields, cost controls

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines posted higher-than-expected results for the 2000 first-half. The carrier posted 161 million euros in net profits for the period, a 55% increase over the same period in 1999.

Singapore Airlines net surged 93% in first half
