The chairman of Dabur India Ltd, speaking at the company's 23rd Annual General Meeting, said that it had increased its turnover by 20 percent in 1997-98 and projected a turnover of Rs1000 crore by 2000 AD. Dabur Research Foundation, the research division of the Dabur group, has standardised 183 herbs on the basis of their active ingredient. The company has set up a new unit at Baddi to produce Chyawanprash and a new unit at Sahibabad to produce hair oils. It has also set up a manufacturing unit for Pudin Hara capsules. (khr)
