An intelligent interactive Project Management Support System

Article Abstract:

The application of artificial intelligence techniques in project management decision support systems was investigated. Specifically, a generic version of such a system was built in accordance with a proposed decision framework based on artificial intelligence concepts and on the notion of finding interactive solutions to the meta-constraint satisfaction problems. An implementation of the generic system for project planning and scheduling is also discussed.

R&D Decision Advisor: an interactive approach to normative decision system model construction

Article Abstract:

An interactive, computer-based, normative decision support system, R&D Decision Advisor, for the evaluation of research and development programs in resource-constrained decision situations is introduced. The system, which employs a blackboard architecture, interactively guides a user in building influence diagram representations of each research project and in analysing each decision problem.
