MERLONI SEEKS TO ENTER ELECTRICALS MARKET

Article Abstract:

The home appliances manufacturer, Merloni TermoSanitari (MTS) of Italy has sought the approval of the Government of India to market and distribute electric equipments like irons, toasters, juicers, mixer grinders, electric kettles, heat convectors, and stick blenders reserved for the small scale sector. MTS will invest Rs12.28 crore in Merloni India in the first two years. MTS plans to manufacture four new types water heaters and fully automatic washing machines. MTS will use the Racold brand name for the standard and economy models and the Ariston brand name for premium products. MTS has a joint venture with the Racold Group. (rk)

KAKATIYA INFO LAUNCHES KIT FOR ENTRANCE TESTS

Kakatiya Info Tech of Warangal has introduced the Kakatiya Learning Kit. The product is a computerised preparation software for the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test which is conducted for students seeking admission into medical and engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
