Mirc Electronics which makes Onida colour television is projected to post a 60 percent higher net profit in 1998-99. It has posted a net profit of Rs22.82 crore in the nine months ended December 31, 1998. It is projected to post a net profit of Rs32 crore for 1998-99 compared to Rs20.42 crore in 1997-98. Its paid up share capital is Rs7.02 crore and its earnings per share works out to Rs45 in 1998-99. (rk)(m)
