It is also suggested that travel agencies and tour operators industry must restructure in order to boost utilization of Italy's potential in tourism market. New sectors such as rural tourism, wine and gastronomic are also expected to grow in terms of demand and supply.

The French market for tobacco: market sectors; smoking tobacco: volume trends

The smoking tobacco sector of the French tobacco was dominated by the rolling tobacco subsector, which generated 72% of the sector in 1997 with volume sales of 5,364 tonnes. The strong performance of the subsector is attributed the growing popularity of smoking tobacco as a cheaper alternative to cigarettes. Smoking tobacco is charged a 68.69% tax vs 76.9% charged on cigarettes. Manufacturers of smoking tobacco have also capitalized a popular trend of lighter, less harmful versions in the cigarette sector by introducing similar versions.
