The world's aircraft manufacturers may join forces to develop the next generation of very large capacity passenger aircraft. Boeing, members of the Airbus Industrie consortium, and others hope to spread the $10 billion cost of developing a 600-800 seat transport.

Article Abstract:

A new system of privatization is scheduled to begin on Apr 1, 1993 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as shares in almost 1500 formerly state run companies are to be traded. However, power could be concentrated too heavily in just a handful of investment funds.

The answer to better schools is not more spending. Rising educational spending has not done anything to improve schools. Successful schools include specialized magnet schools, schools that offer incentives, and schools that offer vocational training.
