Kott Koatings Inc.'s reglazing compounds are capable of restoring old sinks, tile surfaces, bathtubs and showers even without tearing out of the walls or re-plumbing. The company's market for its reglazing compounds include apartment complexes, single-family homes, hotels and motels. With 275 franchises outside the US and around 300 franchises in the US, Foothill Ranch, CA-based Kott Koatings is the world's biggest porcelain refinishing company with the biggest franchise/dealer network across the globe.

The Department of Commerce reports that US exports for products related to electronic commerce and other online services have reached more than $40 billion. The increase in the sales of such products as computers, information and financial services and software connected with the online services industry has led to the belief that nearly a third of all business transactions in the year 2000 will be conducted through the Internet.

Choosing a third-party logistics provider

Article Abstract:

The third-party logistics provider (3PLs) industry is expected to grow 20% annually for next three to five years due to the increasing tendency of manufacturers to outsource some or part of their chain management operations. Use of 3PLs will enable manufacturers to lessen the costs of logistics and to become more flexible in meeting the needs of their customers.
