Net escape

Article Abstract:

Internet companies' stock prices have dropped by more than most stock prices since Jul 1998. If eBay's stock issue is a failure, more internet companies are likely to seek corporate buyers. There have been a large number of acquisitions in this sector in 1998 Neglect of internet companies would be as mistaken as the fashion for internet companies earlier in 1998.
