Marcilla busca una alianza para entrar en hosteleria

Article Abstract:

The Spanish subsidiary of Douwe Egberts, Douwe Egberts Espana (part of the US multinational Sara Lee), is searching experienced distributors to co-operate in its expansion in the hotel and restaurant sectors. To support such project, the company, which markets the Marcilla coffee brand, could also introduce own-branded coffee vending machines through its subsidiary Marcilla Coffee Systems. Douwe Egberts Espana has also announced that in the short term it will not enter the coffee shop business. At the same time, the Marcilla factory based in Mollet (Barcelona) will start producing in short the infusions brand Hornimans (acquired from the CPC group in 1996). Besides, production of this factory could be enlarged to supply other European markets. *

Marruecos busca socios espanoles para el ggas

Article Abstract:

The Spanish ministry of industry recently visited Morocco where the local ministry of industry and mining expressed interest in seeking partnerships for adaptation of gas combined cycle plant and construction of new plants. Both countries agree that a gas pipeline project for the north of Africa would only be profitable to produce electricity through combined cycle stations, since domestic consumption would not be profitable enough. A likely candidate for building cogeneration plants in Morocco could be Basque company Babcock Wilcox.
