In an attempt to attract young urban African American consumers, General Motors Corp. is changing its marketing approach for its Buick automobiles . The company is using celebrities like hip-hop artists in its advertising campaigns, and is customing Buicks following popular trends.

GM and Toyota bet big that pickups pick up

General Motors Corp. and Toyota Motors Corp. are both introducing redesigned full-size pickup trucks, despite declining sales of such vehicles. General Motors has introduced a new Chevrolet Silverado, while Toyota's new Tundra should be available in February 2007.
