Nervous securities markets influenced by rising oil prices and a profit warning from the automobile giant General Motors Corp. may delay Asian deals. Telecommunications equipment interest Dacom Corp. is finishing up a roadshow in the United States and the Indonesian government is meeting with investors in the European Union and the United States.

Bond deal could be Europe record

Article Abstract:

A bond offering to raise financing for the purchase of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. of the Netherlands is thought to be the largest in European financial history. The securities offering is valued at approximately 4.5 billion Euros ($5.8 billion). The market for bonds with high yields is huge in the European Union.
