Network decomposition-based benchmark results for the discrete time-cost tradeoff problem

Article Abstract:

A discrete time cost tradeoff problem version is analyzed, which reduces project time by speeding up some activities at additional costs. Lower and upper bounds of the version using column generation methods based on network decomposition techniques that selects activity modes for quick resolution are provided. Computational results present information on the evaluation of the whole process.

A Lagrangean relax-and-cut approach for the two-stage capacitated facility location problem

Article Abstract:

Models for the optimum location of distribution depots are evaluated. A Lagrangean heuristic is proposed and tested and comparisons made with other models for the problem.
